Goal of the MC
To support starting ECCO’s choosing the legal form and development of first activities and businesses at low risk and capital need, member investments and high exposure. This also means to set up an adequate administration and yearly approval of budget and financial/economic evaluation. Becoming aware that first activities are en general time consuming and slow processes and that help from the local government is pivotal in the first years.

This masterclass is developed especially for recently started citizens initiatives. LochemEnergie developed other masterclasses for starting or more experienced cooperatives towards creation and running business: 1.
