Our Aim
Climate change is an important issue in todays society. The European Commission has set several targets for the transition to clean renewable energy sources across Europe in order to combat climate change. We try to encourage the set-up of community energy groups and help them develop across North-Western Europe in order to help achieve these targets.
ECCOs
Traditional actors in the energy market fail to share the knowledge and socio-economic benefits in the communities they are based in. This increases public resentment towards local developments (“Not In My Back Yard” mentality”), and overall slow down the implementation of renewable energy.
We believe that Energy Community Co-Operatives are the answer to this. ECCOs are created by the local community, for the local community. This ensures that the socio-economic benefits of ECCOs go directly back into the local community.

Access to information
We aim to provide quick and easy access to relevant information for Community Energy Projects, and to provide a platform where said communities can share and discuss their experiences, give each other advice, and build up the community around renewable energy.

We helps users to connect with each other via a social media platform, which can be linked to Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn accounts. Through this platform you can meet professionals and other individuals with experience and interest in renewable energies and Energy Communities.
